Hi Lau,

Well done to Tom and yourself - you deserve a medal for sheer determination! handshake.gif

I've heard that "pot therapy" is very good for back problems, too laughing.gif

Hope you feel "back" to normal very soon! wink

Oh my goodness...  (British open tournament...that sounds like a big competition)Your back  ouch.....any fall is bad but  on a wood floor....Be careful with your back......The slip....could have happened to anybody...The fact that you do karate is so darn admirable.

Your eldest son sounded like he did very very well.

You both should be proud of yourselves .

I have heard that doing house chores especially dishes helps with    cracked spines (lol)

Hope you are feeling better

Competed at the British Open Korean Karate tournament yesterday,

my eldest boy came 5th on a countback of points, unluckily - he would have gone into the semis otherwise - but he was competign against boys 2 yrs older than himself - so he did pretty well.

As for me ? - Disaster - slipped on the wooden floor we were competing on (usually proper tournaments are held on matting - but this was a hired sportscentre) and cracked the base of my back - invalided off and spent the rest of the afternoon with ice-packs on my spine.

Was a little annoyed, but only being 2 yrs and a bit post-tx and at the age of 44, I have no reason to complain to be able to compete at this level - no reason to complain at all ..

Fuxxing hurts though ...

Ouch ....

And the wife still made me do the dishes this morning - LOL  biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
