Hi Andreaz, I`ve just replied to your post in the New Members area, but I`d just like to point out again that vitamins, supplements, or natural remedies will not clear the Hep C virus. It would be nice if it was that easy!
I`ve expect your result was due to a false positive, or possibly a spontaneous clearance of the virus. ~ Jill

There are different opinions on what doctors say you should or shouldnt take. Knowing the pharmaceutical companies is in the pockets of the doctors. When taken in moderation either through food or vitamin pills, youre still ingesting the vitamins in different forms.
When i first tested positive for Hep C. I researched as much as i could re: natural remedies. so, i started taking B-Complex, B12, garlic, turmeric, folic acid, vitamin d, beta carotene, acetyl l-carnitne with apha lipoic acid and Liver (blend SP-13). 2 weeks after testing postive for hep C, my test came back Neg! my doctor was confused as well as concerned of how fast my body was able to clear up the Hep or if my first testing was actually a False Pos.
i still accredit the different vitamins i took during the 2 weeks before i retested.

And mine told me anything more than a regular multi-V/M wouldn't do anything except make expensive pee and poop. So that has been my strategy.

Dr. informed me not to take any supliments except fish oil. This was due to my cirosis also. I was told by several doctors that at my age if I just eat right there was no reason for them.
I agree IMO

Vitamins are the most important supplements for the body to gain good health. Vitamins are gain mostly from fruits a vegetable. Our body can stand healthier without the absence of vitamins. Milk is very important source of life and it contain mostly all the vitamins which our body needs. Each of the vitamins play different role in different organ of the body.

Vitamin supplements are great as supplements to your diet, but in some cases overdoses can occur. The human body can withstand only so much of one type of vitamin. There can be deadly results from consuming extreme amounts of vitamins. There are many vitamins and minerals the body needs to be healthy. The vitamins that the body can not store such as vitamin C, are the vitamins that the human body needs and could use extra amounts. The vitamins the body does store like vitamins E, A and D can be taken to the extreme of causing a vitamin overdose.
The human body only needs one or two milligrams of vitamin B6 per day, but they are sold in one-gram quantities. When taking this dose of vitamin B6 only take one table every two days and drink plenty of water. If an overdose of vitamin B6 occurs it could cause serious damage, it could cause sensory control and motor control loss.
Vitamin E is another vitamin that is often mistreated. There are extreme side effects of consuming more than the body can absorb. The bodys system only needs one hundred to three hundred milligrams of vitamin E per day. There are vitamin supplements on the market that are sold to help grow nails and hair. These are often abused, you need only to take one tablet per day, and consume at least eight glasses of water per day. If an overdose of vitamin E occurs it could cause blood clots, fatigue, tumors in the breast, and reproductive problems.
Consumers are unaware of the dangers of vitamins A and D. Most people take vitamins A and D they same way they take vitamin C. The only difference is that if vitamin C is taken in excess it is passed through the kidneys and flushed out of the body. But vitamins A and D are stored in the bodys fat and the liver, causing sever consequences. By consuming extreme amounts of vitamins A and D, it could result in Cirrhosis of the liver, fatigue and dry and itchy skin.
When taking any vitamin supplements only take as directed, it is best to always consult your physician first. Talk to your doctor about concerns of vitamin deficiency, and he will be able to do the proper testing and diagnose a proper vitamin diet. Can You Overdose on Vitamins? Vitamin A
Gorging on this vitamin compound in doses of more than 25,000 IUs (five times the RDA) can lead to liver damage, hair loss, blurred vision and headaches.
Vitamin B-6
Ingesting more than 400 mg a day (200 times the RDA) can cause numbness in the mouth and hands and difficulty in walking.
Vitamin C
It was once believed to cause kidney stones, but experts now say there is no solid evidence of dangerous side effects from vitamin C. High doses can produce stomach-aches and diarrhoea.
Vitamin D
In daily doses of 50,000 IUs (125 times the U.S. RDA), the sunshine vitamin can cause the build up of calcium deposits that can interfere with the functioning of muscles, including heart tissue. While sunbathing will never create an overdose, taking too many supplements can.
Niacin
Doctors prescribe doses of 2,000 mg (100 times the RDA) to help lower cholesterol. But patients who take that much should be monitored for possible symptoms of jaundice and liver damage.
Iron
Those who want to bolster their red blood cell count, especially elderly people and menstruating women, have been taking iron supplements for years. Daily doses higher than 100 mg (six times the RDA) could interfere with absorption of zinc, a mineral that speeds wound healing and helps regulate the immune system.
