Prior to researching the cause of my symptoms and seeking my own therapy contrary to my Doctors opinions I used Canibis Sativa which helped a good deal. Pubmed.org has a few abstracts posted confirming the Canibis Sativa is assiting with dopamine production and the dopamine receptor function where no receptor damage nor liver damage is noted in case study. For the early non-debilitating symptom relief I would suggest growing some Canibis Sativa and getting your med use card so it's legal. If you don't like the carcinogens related to the smoking of this herb try the Volcano Vaporizor. NO Carcinogens. Instant Reliefe. Avoid Canibis Indica by all means as the CBDs may irritate your symptoms. I have to admit I am probably alive today with no permantant organ damage due to my holistic medicinal approach to treating symptoms. Monavie and Canabis Sativa might work really well together too... ;)

I got to drinking about a bottle a day where I was distributing it and still did not make enough money off the juice to cover my use of the juice. I am not knocking the herbal approach especially with the variety of symptoms associated with Hep C. Keep in mind Monavie promotes itself by stating the medical industry treats symptoms and Monavie is ultimately treating your symptoms where salicilic acid, celadrin, and glucosamine are producing most of the results you feel. This is the typical asprin, Osteo Biflex approach. I highly suggest you research how the Hep C Antibodies can become solid in your small blood vessels and lead to organ damage like your brain, liver, kidneys, skin, gull bladder and such. I drank the juice but my gull bladder was full of stones, my kidneys were failing and my brains was mush. I treated the cause of the symptoms by stimulating dopamine and blocking reuptake while increasing my body temp to 99 and my BP to 140/80 where I will be seeking blood serum replacement therapy. Monavie will nevel break down the Hep C Antibodies causing all of your symptoms. It does help many people with many symptoms and it even can reverse dome lymphomas like it did in me which could become cancer but keep researching the cause... Dopa Bean is an herbal supplement that is not covered by insurance that may help with Dopamine production. There are some good Japanese herbs that can block dopamine reuptake too but you'll go broke buying comercial herbal remedies where Neurontin and Low dose Adderall can reverse the neurological issues and brain damage symptoms. Watch your BP and keep warm on this stuff and see if you do not become the person you once were again!

My knees sounding like crunching potatoe chips was one of the indicators I used to judge that I may not just be getting older but that the HCV may be taking over.
I'm very excited and interested. I like the thought of convenience. But I am curious.... What the different in content would be between a Monavie and veggies from my juicer? It sounds like the Monavie will win easily, but any ideas?

Good move mate, independant university studies here in Queensland indicate that the 'Monavie' extract has extraordinarily high concentrations of active antioxidants, in fact, concentrations several orders higher than that found in available, high quality, natural fruits.
Anthocyanins have been shown to have a wide range of biological activities including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial as well as anti-cancer activities' There have been some outstanding results from some very thorough, and by that I mean double-blind randomised, placebo-controlled trials, in the US.
These studies have indicated a variety of beneficial effects on blood vessels, platelets and lipoproteins, as well as the provision of risk reduction in coronary heart disease and protection from a number of different types of cancers.
I use to take Monavie morning and night for a number of years before I started tx, to aid in the reduction of inflammation, as well as free radical formation in my knees, following some pretty serious knee surgery. I only stopped taking it because of the extra costs that have built up, going through tx.
Have I missed it....you bet, my knees crunch like potato chips these days, but both I and my orthopaedic surgeon look forward to me getting back on it, when i get of this tx hurdy-go-round.
I did continue to use it for the first couple of months on tx, before I ran out of stock, and my liver specialist was as happy as Larry about the stuff.
Unlike home-grown herbal solutions, the Monavie products DO have laboratory based measurements of their content and quality, so if it works for you, go for it

Hi Chrome, I am a great believer in good food being the best medicine, and have used home-grown herbal medicine all my life. I am rather dubious about expensive manufactured herbal remedies and 'health foods'. It's much cheaper to buy good quality, fresh local produce, high in vitamins and antioxidants. Don't know what grows in your area at this time of year, but almost all fresh fruit and veg are rich in anti-oxidants, especially those high in pectin, like apples and pears. They are all very good for the liver, and in their natural form can do you no harm on tx. Some foods specifically used as herbal medicines to help the liver and to treat chronic hepatitis are: raspberries, blackberries, cherries, globe artichokes, asparagus, strawberries, parsnips, blackberries, black and red currants...... while citrus fruits are also good for the liver, I have heard that they don't mix well with the tx medicines. I have not used other herbal remedies in my garden for the sx of tx, as some of these are strong and I have no idea of the effect mixed with interferon and ribervirin. I'm not familiar with your drink, but should have thought that after being processed, sterilised and flown around the world it would have lost much of its vitamin and antioxidant content, but if it contains only fruit sounds harmless. Before I went onto treatment I was using a product called "Monavie". It is a fruit & berry juice made up of exotic ffruits & berries from the Brazilian rain forest mainly with other more common ingredients all known for their antioxidant properties. It really did me good as it increased my energy levels & made me feel better generally.
What I am conserned with is if I am taking it during treatment would the antioxidants effect the success or the treatment. I would hate to take it thinking it would be helping when in fact it was having an adverse effect on my treatment.
