Hi again folks, I`ve heard back from tech support that they have removed the spell check because it wasn`t working properly.  Unfortunately it`s not something they can fix because it`s part of the text editor package they use.

But they did give me this tip which might be useful for some of you...

"if you need to spellcheck a post, right click and select (Chrome/Safari): "Spelling and Grammar ->Show Spelling and Grammar" or (Firefox): "Check Spelling" it should spellcheck the post".

You`ll need to highlight your post first using your cursor.  Hope that helps!  smile

Thanks, Bob and Karen, that`s helpful.  I hope we can get it back, otherwise some of us are going to have to lern to spel!  wink Lol..

Hi Tsunamie, another of our members was having the same problem recently, and she solved it by turning off the `Advanced Editor` in her settings.  It might be worth trying that.  Have a look in the `settings` in your user profile.

Cheers everyone.

Using Chrome and I seem to be having uber-spell check, only it's changing words to crazy stuff. Really strange

Some of us have noticed that the `spell check` has disappeared from the reply box text editor panel, and I`m wondering if everyone is seeing this?  Could you let me know if you can see it or not, please?  And which browser you are using?  I`m going to get in touch with our tech support and any feedback would be useful!

Thanks!  smile  ~ Jill
