Hi again Pizzacake (love your user name!), yes I expect the length was the problem, and using abbreviations would be the way to go if you want to include more information.

The ones we use are pretty self-explanatory but if in doubt here`s a link to list of the abbreviations used on the forum, scroll down to Malcolm`s list at the beginning of the thread...

Just let us know if you need any more help.

Thanks for responding everybody.

I think the issue is the length of the signature I was attempting to enter. I wanted to add more than what I'm using. My guess is that I need to reformat my signature to the abbreviations you are all using.

I'll try this again this weekend.

Yes, thatīs right, Tig, thereīs a set limit of 255 characters for the signature line, so we have to keep it fairly short!

I had issues with Safari too. IE just stinks anyway, so I started using Chrome and found much improved speed and function on my PC's but particularly on my iPad and iPhone. Don't know why Apple's own browser is so slow on their own product but the difference with Chrome was amazing. One other thing I discovered here was that there seemed to be a limit to what could be put into the signature block. Too much and it wouldn't post.

Hi there, Pizzacake, it looks to me as though your signature has saved...are you happy with how it appears now?  ..Jill

I updated and saved my signature twice tonight but checked back later and it hadn't been saved.

I'm on OS X, Safari browser.
