Hi Josh, I had Hep C for over 40 years and what I've noticed and found out since being undetected for around 16 weeks now is how depressed I really was. It seemed to me like I had relatively no sides from the Hep except for the neuropathy but looking back I can see how messed up I was. I guess I was in denial for a long time and waited until I started having problems I could not deny before seeking treatment. Now, those problems may not be reversible. Do the paperwork! Please. smile

Thanks for the update, Josh, and good luck with getting that paperwork filled in ASAP!

It`s great that you`re keeping busy and doing something so worthwhile for the disabled as well as your dad, you`re obviously a very giving and caring person.

You`re not managing to get a lot of sleep so do be a bit careful not to overdo things, remember you have to take care of your own health too, and you`re right that it`s not good for you in the long term.

Best of luck with getting your approval for Harvoni, it`s an amazing treatment!

Take care, and let us know how it goes!  smile

Hi Josh,

Good to hear from you. Glad you're keeping busy, even though burning the candle at both ends, following all of your own health issues and those you're caring for daily, can have a way of catching up to you. Don't wear yourself out or you might find it difficult to continue. I appreciate and respect what you're doing for the disabled. Good job!

I hope you get that paperwork sent in sooner than later. The whole HCV thing might seem like a "meh" situation right now, but there are those waiting on a transplant or worse right now that wish they had the chance to switch places with you. Don't delay any longer than you absolutely must.

Stay in touch and don't forget to take care of #1...

took me awhile to read all the other threads ... been working alot i got another Job takeing care of Developmental Disabled people ... so now im working instead 17hours a week on average to around 60 ... so ya its feast or famine ... to little to much .... bet 1 of these days iLL find a medium somewhere but for not i can handle sum day of only getting 4 or 5 hours of sleep but thats not good for you in the long run....

on the Hep C front for whatever reason my Doctor changed her mind from vikera right when i almost had it cleared through the pharmaceutical company to all of sudden say we want you to go for Harvoni instead so i have the support path paperwork for like the last 3 weeks... havent faxed it back yet but i will ....  at this point i almot dont even care .....im sure if i was scared to death which im not id fill it out and return it in 1 day ..... but whatever......  im not in any real trouble healthwise though im sure if i was i would franticly move a little faster on getting this TX.. but after awhile you kinda become disengenuated or jaded or you just go whatever ... i do want to SVR but if for whatever reason i dont ... ill just go oh well will try agin later.... not like Hep C scares me much it never did since ive had it for the last 13 years ...

to me svr is like this thing or dream r goal you want ... its in the back of your head ... it far away but close at the same time .....

only a matter of time and i know that...... so meh ....... iLL get that path filled out fax it back i guess iLL work on that today ... fax it monday ....

glad you are all doing well sorry ive kinda been radio silent for like a month .. just been busy .....

between working 60 hours a week .. helping people after or before work .. or on weekends or days off and my dad have having stage 4 cancers.....

it gets a little consuming to even try to find free time sumtimes :)    Peace out .....
