I, too, never heard anything about 20G. My study Dr. told me it should be taken with food, and fattier foods seems best.
I usually washed 'em down with a smoothie or protein drink. No issues with indigestion or nausea.
I finished Telaprevir two weeks ago, and I definitely feel better- more energy (also taking iron pills now) and no more baboon-ass.

You can get various foods to get 20g:
- Whole milk with my cereal (9g of fat per 8oz) + 1oz slice of cheese on the toast (another 10g)
- Entire avocado in a salad (30 g of fat)
- 1 serving of strained Greek yogurt (I buy whole milk Fage in Whole Foods ) - 20g
- can of sardines in olive oil - 16g
- 1/4 cup of mixed nuts from Target - 16g
- 1/2 of ice cream - 20g

Congradulations on finishing box 6! Thats 6 weeks of 12 right? My how time has gone by...
I got a case of diarrhea this morning and some nausea to go along with it. That could be one reason the fat is so unappealing. I wasn't able to get my 20 grams, just 1/2 piece of toast with glob of butter and 1/2 bananna. I had to call in and not go to work because of the diarrhea. My pooh burns so bad that I cringe out loud! Waiting for the pharmacy or doctors office to open and see if I can take over the counter diarrhea medicine.
I think get stuff for the smoothie.

I must admit, that while my nurse told me to take my meds with something fatty, I didn't have a specific amount, so just had toast with butter or peanutbutter in the AM.
Once I realized it was 20, I was almost done with my Tela, so just made an effort to get that much or more with the evening pill. Guess it worked anyway.
I have been craving and eating ALOT of fruit through this treatment. I figure it makes up for the veggies that I no longer seem to want right now. And summer fruit is sooooo good!!

I am really surprised that one of the hardest things about this tripple tx, for me anyway, is choking down 20 grams of fat at 6am and 10pm.
I manage to fix a fried egg, bacon, and toast with butter and force feed myself at 5:45 so that I can take my meds, but I still get so hungry thoughout the morning and crave fruit.

Does this get any easier?
