Sorry to hear about your friend - it's a good reminder to enjoy life and make the most of the present. I've lost a few friends recently.

Update.
Supposed to go to Hospital on the 30th to get test results but I have had to cancel as a close friend has been killed and they scheduled his funeral for then.
I though that as I had been waiting long enough another fortnight won't hurt.
This attached photo taken today, don't I look well?
The gesticulation is aimed at the Dragon.

Don`t you just love hospitals Steve?! I wouldn`t read too much into it, I could never get any of my results over the phone, always had to go in. Or maybe your consultant just wants to give you a big hug...?
I liked your `Jewel` story by the way, sounds like you made a really good impression there then!
Take care, relax and enjoy the lovely weather we`re having...haha.

Not Yet Iris,
My consultant said she would ring me.
However, I received a letter Yesterday arranging an appointment for the 30th.
Don't quite know how to take this, was rather hoping they would ring with good news and put me out of my anxiety.
Maybe they like to sit across from you & watch the smile?
Or maybe not, I will have to wait until the 30th now, I'm sure there is something in the Geneva Convention about this "Cruelty"

Thanks all.
You quote "jewel" Jill. (That sounds odd)
I worked security for Celebs years back and stopped her from going backstage at Bristol, her Minder had to inform me that she was the "Act" didn't recognise her.
Now I don't recognise me !
Must be Karma.

Hey Steve, sounds great. Great to hear from you.
I am on that trial you mentioned. 7977, bms790052, and riba. Originally for 12 weeks now 24 because I relapsed on triple tx. It's a breeze so far. No sx. Hopefully you won't need it but if you do it's cake compared to what you have done in the past. Stay in touch.

At Last they have taken the blood yesterday for the SVR test, should know in 3 weeks.
I have also put on 2 pounds since Christmas.
Good news also, if I fail to acheive SVR they will Retreat me although I am type 3.
There have been apparent new discoveries and The Consultant is quite exited about them, and would anticipate a clearance rate of 100% on a 3 month only TX course which does not Involve Interferon.
This is what I would have if I fail, which of course, I won't.
Great photo, Steve!!
