Yeah, the return of my appetite was a real treat - for 6 months eating was a mechanical affair (a chore on some days) but after that...was all good. Only gets better from here!!!

Great news! It's so good to read post-tx accounts. Sounds like you're on a good path to normality. It's exciting to hear.

Great Phil ! I've had similar ups and downs. I too walk a but farther each time.
HAS anyone had GI issues after strenuous day? Twice now I've had dramatic GI sx after heavy lifting garden work . I had blamed it on food first time but happened again and I generally never have probs like this. Just curious. Backed way off activity when on tx so didn't even tempt this kind of reaction

Hey Phil! It sounds like you are on the mend! Glad to hear your energy is coming back. I am discovering the recovery is still a roller coaster but with less dramatic ups, downs, twists and turns. And it is really nice to be able finish most of my sentences. I am keeping my fingers crossed too!

Great news Phil, I'm glad you are feeling better but the itching part scared me...
I have 4 days of incivek left and the past 2 weeks have been a torture. I don't sleep at all, period. Did you ask your doc why you are itching? Maybe you should try to do a detox?

Great to hear Phil! Glad to see the Hb coming back up so quickly. Also the energy levels must come as a shock. Fingers crossed for the SVR.

Saw my dr last week. Everything felt right. Wont do blood work or see him again for 3 months. VLs will be done at 3 and 6 months. At 2 weeks post, my white blood labs were all normal but still mildly anemic (HGB at 12.3, up from 10.8).
My energy level is way up. Very few naps lately (kind of miss them) and was able to mow the whole yard yesterday. Its been a long time since I was able to get more than a quarter in one day. The fog is lifting. Used to space out at work ~ 3 pm, but seem to be able to go half steam until 5 pm now. The headaches are few and far between. For a while, they appeared like clockwork on the weekend just like after the shots. The pre-tx joint pains are returning, but I have started working out again. I guess its just old age and arthritis rather than the hepc. Probably went away during tx because I wasnt using them. The only thing I take now is a multi V/M and an occasional Tylenol. Got off blood pressure meds towards the end of tx.
The appetite has come back with a vengeance. Mostly good food, not junk, just a lot of it as often as possible. If I dont get that in check, I will be back on the BP meds soon.
I went all thru tx with no rashes and just a few itchy spots. Now I have a rash on my chest, and it itches at night along with my neck and face. Not real bad, just irritating. Still drinking plenty of water, drinking more coffee, more active, maybe showers are hotter, weathers hot. Dont know, probably a bunch of subtle stuff. Moved off the couch which was only place I could sleep consistently. Maybe I am allergic to the bed now.
glad you are feeling better!
