Now at day 10 and feel fine. The after effects of the pegasys were much less this week, and the orals don't seem to bother me at all. Riba-600mg (3 x 200) twice a day, GS-7977 400 mg once a day. I sleep fine, have a good appetite, and , uh , I forget the rest. (LOL) Onward through the fog!!

Great to hear you're doing so well. Early days though, takes a while for Peg and Riba to rear their ugly heads. Could be that the antiproteases are the culprits in our case, both with direct effects and potentiating the Peg and Riba. The antipolymerases may be much kinder. Be interested to hear how you go, with Hb, WCC, platelets etc.

Most likely 600mg (3x200mg) twice a day.

Is that 1800 mg ribavirin twice a day?
And many find that the second day after the shot is the worst. That's sometimes the case for me, but the side effects are so variable.

This is it in a nutshell, welcome to being "on treatment".

Hello, Vern
I guess you'll be like so many of the rest of us. You just never know from hour to hour what sort of sideeffects you will be dealing with. Sometimes there will be several nice days in a row. Whole days. Then sometimes it will go back and forth a few times in one day. Good thing is you seem to be handling it OK.
And Rocky (forgot to look at your real name before I started this response),
I did the same thing with my injections, but I only moved it one day. The docs were fine with that, but they said I couldn't move it back. It had to stay that way. I hope your treatment works out smoothly, and the beatings are few.

Hope it stays mild for you. I thought GS-7977 was going to be used without Pegasys?
I take my 5th shot on Thursday, Incivek and Riba. Having all the expected sides, but now much more dizziness when I stand up or get out of the truck. My nausua comes in waves, I can feel fine all morning, then it moves in like fog across a bay.

Monday I started my treatment. Pegasys 180 ug weekly, 3-600 mg RBV am and pm, 1 400 mg GS-7977 each am for 12 wks. They gave me a granola bar to eat, handed me the pills, then gave me the syringe and told me to do it. Summoning up all my male courage I stabbed myself in the stomach, and was amazed that it didn't hurt at all.
Monday really felt no effects at all. Tuesday had joint aches, but was ok until the PM, then it felt like i was having fever and chills. Crashed on the couch for a couple of hours, then felt fine. Today, Wednesday, feel fine. No site reaction to the shot.
They are going to let me back my shot up a day each week until I get to Fridays
