Going on 5 weeks post Incivik and still have burning issues and hemorroids?

Yes, it is quite common, almost universal. But some tips include:
always keep as clean as posible, and use hemmorhoid cream or suppositories on schedule. A good soaking bath, warm but not hot, is a must.
do not scratch or otherwise stir up trouble
pay careful attention to the 20g of fat just before meds. Some experts say the irritation is worse if all of the drug is not absorbed, which is the purpose of the fat. I found this to be the case.
and in the too much information department, sleep without pants of any kind. I promise the air helps a lot.

This doesn't sound good. I am prepared to tolerate a lot to get rid of this but I might have to draw the line at my butthole. How common is this on Incivek? The Dr's asked me if I had had issues with hemmoroids so it must be pretty common.

Thanks for the input. I hope I don't have fissures and honestly it really doesn't sound like. I googled it and my case doesn't seem that serious. I am thinking and hoping it is just hemorroids that the Incivik made much worst and because I am still on treatment (with diahhrea) it is making it very hard for them to heal. I can remember that I have always had hemorroids even before treatment. They would come and come but since the incivik seem to be more frequent and bothersome now. I don't go with the fire-rehea or shards of glass like when I was on incivik. I'll be bringing it up with the doctor when I see him next week.

Oh brother, do you relly want to know?
I ended up with anal fissures after transitioning off Insivek with Prednasone for a bad reaction to the Insivek.
I can remember the morning I had a very difficult bowel movement and have had excruciating pain everytime I go since.
I thought it was the Riba-viron-Interfuron for a while, as I had burning with Insivek, but this felt like shards of glass and got worse over time.
It's been 13 weeks since then, I am done with treatment, and my butt is as bad as ever. I eat tons of fiber, use a nitro-glycerine compound topically, (prescription), and do daily sitz-baths, but I still want to scream everytime I move my bowels. Gastroenterologist says he'll refer me to a surgeon, but I'm trying homeopathy for now.
This weekend I will swim in the ocean which is supposed to be the wonder-cure, but I am told this is short-lived.
I hope you don't have fissures, but if you do, I found a website just like this one for support.
Never thought I'd talk about my ass hole so openly, but I no longer have any modesty!

In my opinion you should be over this by now. It sounds like maybe there was some actual damage during the Incivek days that is still not healed. Have you mentioned this to the doctor? On your next visit, bring it up. They may want to give you some more powerful remedy to use. I really don't think you should still be having this problem. Alan

So just like the title states, I am on week 5 post incivik treament. I ended it on Jun 22. The fire-rehea for the most part stopped when I got off of it, but recently a bout of painful bathroom movements has come up. I have had hemorroids since the incivik. They have never fully gone away. I have been using prep-h since back in April when the problems began being induced by Incivik.
So anybody else still having issues? What are you guys doing to relieve bad bathroom bouts? Is this normal to still be happening 5 weeks after I finished Incivik?
