i am off of school on fridays and have the weekend off so i decided to do it friday morning. i think the biggest factor depends on your on your schedule. i'll tell you my reaction to interferon so far, but like you said people tend to have different experiences. the first shot was the absolute worst for me as far as side effects go. it took about 5 hours, and then it felt like i went through the worst flu ever. the second shot felt like almost nothing. since then, i sometimes get a slight fever/chills, but usually that happens sometime on saturday. i like doing it in the morning, because i feel like i am getting it out of the way as soon as possible, and that way i can somewhat enjoy the end of my weekend. it's really whatever your personal preference is though.

Well I haven't started yet (hopefully next month I will get started), so I am just thinking about what might be best. I have no idea how I will react and it seems like people have many different responses.

Interesting! Always do mine late night Friday. Week 13! This week I have had chills throughout Saturday. I start getting chills Some nights 30 minutes after my shot. I like sleeping thru it Last night I woke twice w Charlie horses in calf. That's a first time! Glad u all are finding the formun. It helps a lot especially those first weeks. JoAnne

I'm a Fri night shooter but just did the shot in the morning for first time, yesterday. Hoping to have a better Sunday and Monday this way.

I followed that strategy for a different reason. I was told it took at least six hours post shot for symptoms to start appearing. So I took mine noonish on Fridays so that Friday night I would sleep through the worst of any side effect reactions.

This is interesting. I might consider this (I haven't started yet). I wanted to take the shot on Friday so I had the weekend to recover, but I don't have to go anywhere on Fridays at all so if I took it during the morning I might be through a lot of the bad reactions by bedtime? That would be nice to be able to sleep. Maybe I will take it at lunch time on Fridays and by bedtime I might be able to sleep.

So far 3 out of my 4 shots have been moring shots just because I was working nights at the time and took it after I got off and slept though most of the sx, the one night that I did it I didn't sleep well at all. Tossed and turned all night with that one. My sides from the shot are mostly just chills and I just want to sleep.

I always do mine in the morning. I found that I had my reaction to the first two about 30 hours after the shot, the second was less than the first, and I had no reaction after my third shot. when I did have a reaction it was like fever and chills for about 2 hours, then it stopped abruptly, and I felt fine.

This past Sunday, I injected Pegasys for the first time in the morning. Sunday was a bit of a drag, but I really felt pretty good on Monday, and the second day after the shot is usually the worst for me. I may have slept through the worst of it.

Anybody else dosing in the morning?
