I'd lost some hair through this but not like looking-for-wig loss. But just in the last week I'm really noticing a lot of shine on my scalp and a lot of grays too. Maybe I'll work on becoming cool and get a bandana or scarf. I'm just not sure I cam carry that off.
Oh well. Undetectable so no whininhq from me...at least today

I also lost about half of my hair. It was thin and fine to start with and became very dry and brittle. I used coconut oil on my scalp to stop the dandruff and moisturize but found that nothing really stopped the hair loss. I cut my hair so I wasnt pulling on it and didnt have to style it and that really helped. I am 7 weeks post treatment and happy to say that my hair is growing back and slowly getting thicker. It does get better!

Hi,
First of all. it's very rare for someone to go completely bald on tx. I lost about half my hair, not in clumps but overall thinning. There's a link below with some useful tips on hair care. It does mention Nioxin, but many people have commented that it didn't make any difference and was a waste of money.
Thank you Steff, I was going to try rogaine, it says here that's it's not recommended.

My hair started to fall out at week 17 and I started the Nioxin. I found that my scalp was so tender and dry so using this wasn't condusive to the hair. I was washing it every 5-6 days. I started massaging coconut oil into my scalp the day I would wash it then use organic baby shampoo and conditioner on it to help keep down the scalp tenderness. I am a week and a half out from treatment now and have been alternating nioxin and the baby shampoo every wash and now wash every 4-5 days....husband was deployed in Afghanistan before so I could be a little more gross :)
good luck,
Meghan

Since week 10, I've noticed a tremendous hair loss. The texture of the hair became course, rough and wavy! My hair also became 2 shades lighter. Extremely dry and a lot of dandruff. Any recommendation on the products, i literally lost a quarter of my hair in 15 weeks. I'm afraid I'll loose it all by the end of my treatment. I use Nioxin to restore but no use...Please help!!!
