your blood count is low because of the treatment same thing happened to me at week six so i inject procrit once weekly to correct the problem its common for this to happen so dont freak

They will be sending neupogen for low white cells. It is a "stinger", so expect some light stinging at injection time. Several of our members are using it. It seems to do the job, and will alow you to do the propoer dose of pegasys.

TX affects different folks differnetly, don't know why. I started weekly labs at week 6. Everything was dropping, red and white. At week 17, riba was reduced because of the reds. The whites kind of leveled off at that time, up one week, down the next, so the peg was left alone. Your situation looks fairly normal (for us).

Dr called today said give myself a third of the interferon tonighg, they"'ll be sending an additional thing to inject weekly to get white count up and need labs weekly instead of monthly. Mmm. What's it mean? ...anyone?

i had my riba reduced because of anemia. i guess it's all a part of treatment.

i had my riba reduced because of anemia. i guess it's all a part of treatment.
