it was a bug! I made my husband sleep in the guest bedroom but he came down with it today anyway :( I feel sorry for him but am happy it was not treatment related.

Hi Meghan, sounds like it might well be a stomach bug. I had a similar thing the week after I finished tx. I suffered with quite a lot of nausea while on tx, especially during the first few weeks, but the only time I actually threw up was about a week after tx finished!
It`s still early days for you yet and it does take a while for your immune system to get back to full strength post tx. Make sure you keep well hydrated.
Hope you feel better very soon, Jill xx

At 9 weeks post, I have what looks and feels like a head cold. Bad enough to plug up my ears and affect my hearing, particularly in one ear. So its troublesome and nags at me whether its just a bug or a result of tx. Better this morning. I don't go to doctors easily, so I will stare at my sticky note to make an appointment all day long. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear this, lady. In fact, any bad news after treatment, like itching, continued hair loss, backside problems, etc. just break my heart. We have endured enough pain. There is no need for all this additional discomfort. Hopefully this is just a passing bug and not a problem from treatment. Get well soon. Us 36-week slayers need to stick together.

Yuck Meghan--that stinks! I have not had any post-tx nausea. I just had the thyroid take a slow spiralling decline. Hope it is just a plain ole' bug and you get over it quickly. Recover is a slow process. Cheers!

Gosh Meghan, that's really a bummer. Nothing fun about loosing your lunch. Perhaps a touch of food poisoning?...if it is trying to vacate both ways. Food allergies are another way to loose your cookies, as I am recently finding out, ...me and split peas...forget about it!
Hope you are feeling better today, I found Popsicle's to be soothing. Be well dear. Blessings, Iris

Hey...It may be a stomach bug but was wondering if anyone experienced nausea post treatment. I have been feeling great then came down with more flu like symptoms, vomiting, and diarrhea last night into today. Conincidentally, a nurse educator from CVS called today to see how I was feeling post treatment. I told her my symptoms and she said it might be from medication still in my system. Regardless, I am drinking cmy clear fluids and staying clear of food for now. Any similar stories?
