Thanks guys for all your responses. Glad to know it's all normal in any case.

Same here. I went to work at my office on all but about five days during treatment. Then came home and fell on the couch, or sometimes into bed. Weekends were like a zombie movie. Almost no activity. I took a week of vacation right before Christmas, and stayed in bed practically the entire week. It seemed getting up to go to work was the only thing keeping me going. The chores piled up all Winter. Now that I am done with treatment, and feelng some better, I am slowly attacking the list of chores. Sometimes it seems like I'll never catch up. But there is progress.
Alan
PS. I was on the Incivek triple, not Victrelis. But it seems the fatigue is a common element to both.

Yes, that was 'normal' for me. That's 70 deg F and definetely jacket weather outside and a couple of blankets inside. Get me on the couch with a blanket, and I'm out. I made it to work almost every day and worked all day, but I have an office job, so nothing physical. When not at work, I was on the couch. I look back now at how much I accomplished at home or at work while on tx, and it wasn't much, certainly a lot less than it should have been.

Hi Caroline, I'm retired, and am basicly housebound. I led a very active life before Rx, so the mental part of sitting around is wearing. I feel better on Thurs and Fri so get out and get blood tests, doc's appointments etc on those days. Being older and cirrhotic, the Sx are more profound. I can live with it for another 24 weeks. Cheers.

Hi Malcolm, thanks for responding. Regarding the fatigue - are you still able to maintain a routine of such? Hubby's in full time employment and his employer is fine and supportive, but I just wonder how he's going to get through the day like this over such a long period of time? Regards, Caroline

Hi again, Yep, Victrelis did that to me too. I'm now at 23 weeks, and have never felt so cold in Brisbane. I think anaemia has a lot to do with it, plus the fact that I can't stand sitting in the sun. I'm looking forward to Spring. I have given up hope that the fatigue will decrease- my doc won't reduce my Riba so I'm stuck with a Hb of low 9's (or low 90's depending on your lab.).

Hi there, hubby has just started Victrelis yesterday and it has floored him in under 24hrs. He is so lethargic, sickly and freezing cold.
Just looking for some reassurance here - is being freezing cold normal? It's 21 degrees in Sydney today and so it's not cold.
