Hi Derek, Sorry to hear about that... I guess you will have to be extra careful, till they get this one figured out. Watch out for kids with runny noses, and wash your hands frequently, maybe bug spray if you go out...as you probably know, the west Nile virus around L.A. is on the rise (again). As Interferon ramps up the immune system to fight the virus, maybe it hasn't calmed down yet, so to speak. Hope the doctors can find out more for you and it settles down. Great news on the liver functions!

I took some new blood test about 4 months post treatment. They didn't test for viral load as they believe at Cedars-Sainai that SVR is achieved at 6 months post treatment. My results showed that my liver function is finally normal BUT my immune system is freaking out (overly-active). All of my doctors seem to be confused by this and ordered more blood test for October 1st. Has anyone had these results post treatment?
