This is probably just my imagination, but it seemed to me that my choice of injection site made a big difference in how I felt in the hours and days afterwards. If I injected in the fatty area on my belly, the shot was mellow, the side effects were minimal, and each day of the week was about the same. If I chose a site on my thigh, where it was difficult to find enough fat to inject properly, the effects were more severe and immediate. Then I would actually have two great days late in the week. Strange but true. So I came up with a theory that the extra fat on the belly slowed and steadied the absorption, where the minimal fat on the thigh allowed the medicine to absorb quickly and spike it's potency. Probably hogwash. Alan
That makes a lot of sense Alan. Many drugs are stored in the fat cells. Kinda like natures continuous release system.

Hi Annette, It is recommended to get the Peg out of the fridge, and for it to be at room temp. before injecting. I doubt whether your delay in injecting would cause problems. Funny how people have such a range of Sx from Peg. I don't have any.

Took my second shot Friday and from the start it knocked me on my rear. Stayed in bed all day Saturday dizzy, lightheaded, weak and tired. Wow! not what I expected since last week I hardly noticed any difference in how I felt. Its worth noting and this could be the reason why such a noticeable difference, but when I took meds from the refrig. an emergency came up which delayed my taking the shot for an hour. The meds stayed in my pocket so that by the time I gave myself that shot...it was warm. Just a thought, may or may not have anything to do with anything.
Also I've developed an itchy rash over most of my body.

Every thing else is manageable.
