Wishing you all the best, Judy! I'm sorry to hear about Calvin. It's difficult to say goodbye to our animal friends. It breaks my heart. And then an accident! Jeez, you're not getting any breaks. But I'm glad that you're ok.

Just got the Quantitative part of the 4-week post-tx labs back. Still UND!!!!
Everything else is now within normal range except WBCs still low and RBCs just a tad low. My 2 liver enzymes (ALT and AST) have been down in the teens. I am So happy and hopeful!
If I keep seeing UND on my labs until Feb 2013, I will attain SVR!
You guys know I was scheduled for 48 weeks with PegIntron, Riba, and Victrelis. (44 weeks of Victrelis). Plus the weekly Procrit, Neupogen, and all helpers. I could only complete 23 weeks before my body gave out. I'm praying that's all that was needed.
Judy,
I don't know how I let two days slip by without giving you a big yippee!!!
Wishing you the best for keeping the UND until SVR!

Aww, wonderful news!
From that first trip to the hospital just a few hours after your first shot, to UND, and everything in between, you did it!
The odds are now way in your favor. I'm sure you'll post your next UND results soon enough, and I'll be looking for 'em.
Now, take it easy and enjoy!!!

Thank you guys SO much! Hehehe, as sick as I was, you'd think it would have to have killed this virus. Heck, nearly killed ME! Staying positive!
My next dr appt is Oct 15. I think I'm getting another lab before the 3-month mark; not sure though.
Mallani, that's a good question. I've been researching and found that many believe they are on Vic for too long; some say it's the ins companies trying to make more money. I just don't think these drugs have been around long enough to really know for sure. I would have done the full 48 wks with 44 wks of Vic if my body had allowed. Perhaps it was telling me the virus was eradicated and drugs doing further damage, who really knows. Time will tell.
I still don't have my full energy back yet, and have some muscle and nerve issues. My hair continues to fall out; I get 3 to 5 handfuls in the shower daily, and then more at brushing, always hair under my pillow in the morning, and I just have to run my fingers gently through for it to fall. I seriously think I'm going to lose it all. But if it saves my life, it's worth it.
Mary Jane, your kitty is adorable! Thank you for that picture!
It is so nice to see you guys here; what all we've been through together, huh? We're all still here and life goes on. Mine entire year continues to be a roller coaster ride. Had to euthanize my dearly beloved cat, Calvin, on Sept 4. I'd had him for 15 years, since 1997. Then 2 days ago, a car accident. A lady spaced out and ran her stop sign and smashed directly into the side of my Camry, head-on with her Expeditian. Never saw me in front of her or heard me laying on the horn. She was extremely sorry and admitted to the Sheriffs that it was her fault, which was quite obvious. Thank God Bri was NOT in the car with me. If she was, and I hadn't seen the lady coming straight at me and sped up, she would have directly hit Bri's passenger door. As she sent my Camry spinning, I kept thinking, "Thank God Bri is not here and thank God I'm off tx and my platelets are up!" I feel I've narrowly escaped death a few times this year! Anyhow, now in a rental as my Camry is in repair shop. Life is keeping me on my toes!

Judy, That's the best news I've heard in a long time. Perhaps we're taking Vict. for too long? Keep up the UND. and we'll still finish at about the same time.

Great news Judy. I feel like you suffered through 96 weeks of treatment side effects condensed into 23 weeks. I'm guessing the mother-daughter time must be vastly improved nowadays.
All the Best, Dave
