Golly, Meghan. That's a tough one. Seems like it should be safe enough. But who knows for sure. I bet you can get a good answer from the medical folks, but will the surrogate believe it? Hope it works out for you. Raising kids is cool. I am on my second time (raised the grandson since he was 3 months.... now 15 years). Best of luck. Alan

Now that I have one medical treatment under my belt, my husband and I are looking into surrogacy because I am unable to have children. However, with the hep C antibody in place still in our blood does anyone know if this is possible? I am waiting to hear back from the agency. Basically, I would take fertility drugs to produce multiple eggs then have a surgery where they harvest those eggs. They then make embryos with my husbands donation and implant the embryos in a surrogate. I didn't even think about this because it is an egg...not blood. Maybe it is a danger to the surrogate mom. I will let you know what I hear but if anyone on here has experience with this or knows someone that has please let me know.
