Absolutely wonderful news, Kristy!! Btw, did you see if your numbers came up on the platelets, hemoglobin, all blood cells, etc.? Mine were back to almost normal by 4 weeks post. Many of us are doing the waiting game, now. My dr told me to get my next labs on Oct 30. That will be exactly 11 weeks post tx. For some reason, he doesn't want me to wait until 12 weeks. I haven't a clue as to why.
I started taking Milk Thistle again 2 weeks ago. That should be OK, right? Just wondering 'cause my drs told me to NOT take it during tx, and I know Riba takes 6 months to leave body.

Hahaha, Alan! I think Labs are fun, too. I always count the weeks before I'm due; I look forward to them! I like to see improving numbers, and of course always nervous about the V.L. remaining UND.

It makes me feel so good to see so many of my buddies finishing up and feeling better. Way to go, Kristie. Be sure and post your tests as you do them. If you are like me, you'll have one right away, one in four weeks, one at 12 weeks and then the big one at 24 weeks. The post treatment activities are much less often but a lot more fun. Never thought I would say labs were fun.

Great, very well done, Kristy! Congrats to you!
I well remember people telling me how good I looked just because I`d lost so much weight by the end of tx...if only they knew! Not to be recommended as a slimming aid! Lol. Good to hear you`re slowly getting your energy back, it takes a while. Best of luck to you, onwards to SVR! Keep in touch! ~ Jill xx

Congratulations Kristy. It will get better fairly quickly including that lovely pale color we acquire. I have had folks that knew or didn't know comment on the 'improvement' in my appearance and behavior since finishing. Gee, was I that bad?

Thank you, thank you, thank you guys I don't know if I could have perservered without you, besides my husband and boss (a friend, who is 300km away) no one else knew I was on tx. So for YOU my friends I am truly grateful
Looking pale and being extremely apathetic most folks thought i've simply been suffering with the flu, or just being completly antisocial and withdrawn. Although I did get tired of people saying I look great, having lost weight and asking "how did I do it?
-Dave, AMAZING sounds fantastic. I can't quite say that yet, but I am certainly smiling to hear you say it. I'll get there.
I'll still be here, hoping everyone is doing the best they can, for duation of tx and forever after.

Thanks to you Kristy for sharing this ride with me and others. Glad to know you're feeling
better already. I found I progressively felt better during the first six weeks of detox; it was pretty much the opposite of the first six weeks of drug build up. Now people ask me how I feel. I tell them I'm not sure if I'm as good as before treatment only because it has been so long it is hard to remember well enough to compare accurately. HOWEVER, I do tell them that compared to treatment I feel absolutely Amazing!
All the best, Dave

Hi, I have been off all meds for a week now. I do feel somewhat better. The fog is lifting and my energy levels are returning slowly.
I have not yet had post tx bloods done due to appointment mess ups. Will have them done this week and by next Friday I hope to have results.
Thank you to all here for your support and for helping me feel I am not alone.
