I've had to use ONE oxicodone in 6 weeks. It's not mear butt burn , that's a walk in the park. I have a severe reaction to Incevek exiting my rectum. It inflamed my rectum swelling it almost closed. It feels like I have at times a pike with a barb shoved 10" up and is being pulled out a bit with every heart beat. I went through bouts of this for weeks until the Belladonna found me.

For what it's worth...
I used an oxycodon tab (left over from a neck injury) on 3 occasions while on the Incivek triple Tx. These tabs had no other ingredients (like acetaminophen, etc).
It was during a bad Pegays rxn, and I was miserable. It was a godsend, let me get some badly needed sleep.
I would not have considered using them for the butt burn, as that happened too frequently, and it would not be prudent to take them that often.
I had a drinking problem years ago, but never have had a problem with opiates, so for me this was ok.
Glad you got a handle on this. The but burn part is murder :((

I briefly flirted with opiates while in Viet Nam, and when I look back on that experience I recall what George Jones once sung: " there's nothing better once you've had the best".

I only can take four Tylenol a day. It makes me extremely constipated and only make thing worse. Funny after being sober and off opiates for 24 yrs. I still feel the need to get permission from my Drs. To take meds. as directed.

Cool, 24 years. Hope the new butt meds work. I tried a homeopathic remedy years ago and it was mainly a trace speck of belladonna. Not sure if it had any affect, but it was a trip trying it. I've been sober for awhile too and wouldn't hesitate to do what youre doing.

Im thinking of asking my Psyc. Dr. for a script. of oxi. She is the one who told me it would help not only physicaly but metally. I only take it in extreme pain.
That might be the route to take; I have a prescription for Xanax(anti-anxiety) that has helped take the 'edge' off some ongoing issues, but I've found that it also helps relieve some pain deep in the shoulder blade/upper back area that I strained about a month ago.

I am still wanting painfully for a Rx of Belladonna and opium sapository. Today I had searing pain again inside. I finally broke down and took a old oxicodone I had from a shoulder injury. My Dr. Told me they don't Rx. Heavy pain killers well all I know is it worked miricles for the pain I have had for weeks.
Brian,
Sorry to hear of your pain plight, I have thought whimsically about obtaining street drugs for pain relief, since it appears that health care providers are skitterish about RXing effective pain meds. I do realize that FDA regulations complicate matters for providers who would be otherwise willing to script a poor soul some pain relief.

Being in pain is a challange, because I believe all pain medicine can be bad for the liver to some degree. When I am in pain I have this internal battle; take something and feel better or tough it out. Anytime I get a headache I quickly fold and take something. One time I was at the ER in pain, and even though I told them I have hep c, they shot me up with Dilaudid
Hope you feel better.

I had it really bad while on incivek. There were some days where it just hurt to walk, and I was miserable. The creams helped, but I don't think there is any way to make it "feel normal". The good news is after incivek it quickly gets better. Be very gentle with that area and hang in there.

I have been having severe rectal pressure and pain. I drink the water, use medicated wipes, soft fatty diet. And a hydro cortizon insertable ointment My question is does anyone take pain meds. for this? I'm seriously thinking about getting a script of something strong. I can't take it anymore!... Brian
I just got off the phone with my Dr they called in a lanocain cream. If this doesn't do the trick they have what the called a old school sapositoy.
