All three drug companies offer co-pay assistance. As a result I paid virtually nothing for my drugs and there wan't even a low-income requirement. P.S. - I am on the Obamacare program.

Talk to your doctor about an assistance program. They probably will direct you the the pharmacy that they deal with, and they should help you apply for an assitance program through the drug companies. I stressed for months about how to pay for treatment, and the whole time I just needed to ask my doctor for help. Best of luck getting assistance.

I have insurance coverage but I am required to pay upfront for meds & then get a reimbursement. Thankfully Merck reviewed my case & now provides my meds free. Otherwise there would be no way I could have afforded to do it.

Hi Nicole, please don`t give up yet, as Neil said, there are patient assistance programs available for people in your position. Here are some links for you to check out for a start....
There are a lot of pharmaceutical subsidies. Do a search for pharmaceutical assistance and you can narrow it down there depending on your location.

I was all excited to start my tx and found out just got peg and rib it'd be 1300 a month co pay not including victrelis. Thats over half of what I make and I'm a single mother. How the heck do people afford this? I thought i had good insurance too! I can't do it now because there is no way I can afford that. I was looking into assistance. It looked like most of the people they work with are non insured.. What a huge disappointment
