I got back on the Red Bull again. The first 16 or so weeks of treatment I left it alone, but the absolute lack of energy pushed me back to my favorite vice. I know it's probably not the best thing to do, but a lot of us have HCV due to not making the best decisions. And I've never been really good at taking good advice.

I noticed when my Hep C was raging I tended to grab a sweet treat....a lot. Also when depression hit same deal. It was comfort or so I thought. Now a bit more mindful, off the meds and on the mend I'm trying to use fruit and water for my "reward" fix. I know a lot of us turned to drugs before our recovery began upon diagnosis of this beast of a disease. I hope we are all looking toward a healthy future free from bondage to our disease and addictions.
So what was your drug or vice of choice? Harmful or healthy? Do you see light down the tunnel? I truly hope so.
