Hi strongerthanthis, very sorry you`ve had to stop tx, sounds like you`ve had a really rough time of it. No-one wants to give up unless they have to but once you`ve reached that point then it`s the right thing to do. You did your best and the main thing for you to do now is to concentrate on recovering and feeling better. Let us know how your appointment goes with your new doc, and hold on to that positive attitude...there are new and better drugs coming along in the pipeline.
All the best of luck to you, take care. ~ Jill xx

Once again I apoloize that should be 5.93 I do realize it is not very high but the doctor felt since it was up any it was not a good sign especially since I had been undetected earlier. Plus with the eye bleeding, my constantly being sick, & bad lab reports stopping was the right thing. It is just frustrating. I knew treatment was not 100% successful but I just thought it if I hung in there long enough it would go my way. For now I am staying positive & ready to see my new doctor & find out what lies ahead for me. Thanks for all your replies. I would be lost without my online support system.

Hi strongerthanthis, very confusing! Log 3.93= 8,567 i.u./ml. Doesn't matter much as VL's fluctuate, but Log 3.93 is pretty low. Good luck.

Ok my last viral log is 5.93 856767 viral load. I thought I was not hearing her right so I saw my chart today. At any rate I am off treatment & have an appointment with a new doctor in 2 weeks to see what is next for me.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am not 100% sure about the last viral load amount because she told me via phone and I might not have written it all down correctly. My mind has been a mess! But it was tested while I was on treatment. I just stopped yesterday afternoon. My online medical chart should be updated today with the correcat amount.

Hi strongerthanthis, sorry to hear about your problems. Hope things can be resolved.
Your VL sounds as if it's being expressed in Log Equivalents/ml. That would make your initial VL of 1,250,000 into Log 6.1. Your VL of Log 5.84 is equivalent to 700,000. However, Log 8.576 is equivalent to over 100 million! Are you sure the figures are correct, and see if it mentions the word Log on the Result Form? After stopping Rx early, the VL can bounce up and down a bit . I have never heard of a VL of over 100 million but may be mistaken. Good luck. Cheers

I haven't posted in awhile, treatment made me pretty sick & was quite a rollercoaster ride! I was on triple therapy with victrelis & the doc stopped my treatment yesterday. I have an artificial eye and it keeps bleeding--like bloody tears when I blink, my lab results are just getting worse even though my dosage of meds has been lowered to the smallest dosage & my viral load was undetected on 8/19 then jumped to 5.84 on 10/9 & now its 8.576767 on 11/9. So now I am being sent to a new doctor nearly 4 hours away. I don't know what to make of all this. Can someone please tell me what I could possibly be facing & what does my viral load level fall as far as high or low. 1,250.000 was my viral load when I was diagnosed in April.
