When I finished TX I started feeling better once I stopped the riba. Literally 12 hours after the last dose. In about three weeks your husband will feel markedly better. Have him start to exercise as soon as he can. The anemia fades over a month or so. He will feel fading sickness for the next few weeks, but will feel a little better every day. At about a week post tx, my energy started to come back. At three weeks I felt a LOT better. At two months post tx I felt relatively normal. At three months post tx, it was all like a bad memory. Now I still have a little insomnia, but otherwise feel absolutely normal. I am 8 months post tx now.
One thing that did come back fast was my appetite. That came screaming back within a week of stopping treatment. One strange thing, the itching got worse for about two weeks after treatment ended, then faded away. I have heard others say the same thing.
Congradulations!
