I am waiting on pins and needles to hear my 4 month post results... I have now been through treatment twice. Don't dispair...I work in biotech and see things all the time about how so many companies are working on things for hep C.

So sorry to hear, Scot. You do have a wonderful attitude, though. I'm in the same boat. We'll get it the next time around.

Thanks to all for your encouragement!Keeping my chin up.
JoAnne, yes I do have cirrhosis but no outside symptoms (no pain, jaundice, etc.).
Doc insists on ultra-sound or MRI plus Alpha-fetoprotein test (tumor marker) every 6 months.

Started triple therapy treatment Sept 2011 (Peg, Riba and Incivik). At all key labs (12, 24, 36, 48 week) undetectable. Then at week 60 came the smack in the face... Viral Load 10,300,000. Made for a depressing Thanksgiving.
Thought we had it beat.
Doc's gonna try to get me into another trial study he's running (people coming from all over the East Coast for this one) and more promissing Drugs on the way for late 2013/early 2014.
