I've seen lots of instances here where reductions in meds is absolutly necessary and quite a few missed doses I think we'd see alot more breakthrough relapse If missing (a) dose would be that critical Most of these people are UND and Post UND and SVR

Malcolm, For all of us, the stakes are so high- we have alot riding on this treatment, not just for our physical health but we are pumped mentally & emotionally...I totally understand the feeling that some "minor" mistake could potentially derail months and months of effort and sacrifice.
I don't think that there was any harm done, just the level of the poison in your system fluxuated a bit.

I use RXmindme on my iphone which is free app exactly for that but i have to travel across 7 hours time zone every few month which is completely messed up my schedule. Took me a while to figure out how to calculate all the time difference.....and than again.
I cant imagine my life without all the stress of "can't forget to take my meds". Must be so different.

I worried that i had thrown up my riba and considered taking more. But chose to wait. I hope i did right. I should set alarms also. I have forgotten the pm dose up to 4 hours late. I think after that many doses not missed you were probly still on track.

Welcome to the rest of the Hep C clan Malcomb! I missed Invicek dose which my doctor told me, Never miss a dose; if your arm gets cut off And it's between getting your medicine Or your arm. Leave the arm, you can get another! So like you I freaked when I missed a dose And took it immediately! Alan helped me Figure out what to do! I was panic! We are all trying to do everything perfectly As we don't want to blame ourselves If tx fails. I flex an hour every now and than on RIBA. The RIBA company nurse suggest I take RIBA at 8am and 4pm to help me sleep. I didn't change I take it 12 hours apart. I use mild sleep aid anyway:) JRC sure saved you from future worry! He missed dose and is SVR! Celebrate! Xxoo, JoAnne

Malcolm, just for your peace of mind (you surely know that). Its not that crucial as with Incivek being a shorter course and a higher importance of an intake interval.
A quote from Merck
If you miss a dose of VICTRELIS and it is less than 2 hours before the next dose, the missed dose should be skipped.
If you miss a dose of VICTRELIS and it is 2 or more hours before the next dose, take the missed dose with food.
Take your next dose at your normal time and continue the normal dosing schedule.
You did right, no harm done. Keep well!

Oh, I know Malcom! I was SOOO OCD about my doses, but I blew it too.
In fact I wasn't sure WHEN I screwed up...I just had 2 extra inciveks one morning. I just took them right then and there, since that was the first I noticed the extras.
I then had the right amount, but 3 weeks later at the end of TX, I was 2 Inciveks short ??!!
I have a lot of respect for you 48 weekers. It was all I could do to make 24.
Hang tough Malcom,
Brad

Malcolm, I was also 3 hours late for one dose. And it was indeed panic waking up and trying to read the fine print instructions with those dried out eyes. If I remember right, if less than 4 hours late, take it and resume the regular schedule. So you were also late, but not missed. I am near certain that 99.9% compliant is going to be OK.

Well, it had to happen! After 37 weeks of not being even 5 minutes late for a dose, I forgot my 3pm Victrelis. I have 2 alarms for the 7am and 11pm, but have got a bit casual about the 3pm. I discovered the error at 6pm and had sheer panic and disbelief! After gulping them down, I had to work out how to get back on track . Decided on Vict. at 1am, 8am, then back to 3pm. Easy to say I was watching an exciting end to the 2nd Cricket Test, but it a timely wakeup call. The Vict. and Riba pill load for 48 weekers is very difficult.
Malcome please don't beat yourself up too much
