Hi Bill, don't let them start treatment again until you get properly assessed . You need a full Haematology workup to find out why your starting Hb was low, and why it dropped so dramatically. Also, as you are diabetic, you need this to be fully assessed particularly in regard to any renal manifestations. You had a good response to treatment (VL wise), and should start again, but only after all of the above. You should ask about how any future Sx will be managed. Best of luck, you'll get there.

Bill and Bill Family, keep us in the loop. Self compassion and letting in the support of others will likely do more good; then speculating on assigning blame to ourselves. If things do get worse, lets hope its one of those - things sometimes get worse before they get better - things.

Well got the call to stop the 3x treatment and waiting to see if can still do eprex to bring up hemoglobine. Seending me for blood work Monday and then to an Nephrologist seems they and I guess I should be worried about kidney failure. Creat jumped to 217. Could be my own fault since started Vict last Friday did not really drink that much fluids, started on Wednesday after notified of blood work and read information about water intake on this sight. Well will know more by Tuesday.
