Are you on any anti anxiety or anti depresents. That is what happened to me at the start in August. Blood went throught the roof along with engergy and was sleeping for 17 hours, got off the anti's told doctor bears do not hibernate around here until November.

Hi Vern, I've been on Tenormin for at least 25 years and before that another beta blocker (propanolol) since I was 20yo. Rx seems to drop the BP a bit- I've been running at 120/70 with PR of 40-45 b/m. The anaemia and slighty low BP contribute to the lightheadedness, but that's the least of my worries.

They put me on Atenolol (Tenormin) 50MG for BP about a year ago, but my pulse has always been strong and usually BP 135/90
Now it is 175/60 and pulse 40-45. Maybe my lack of exercise is contributing to this?

My BP gradually rose to 150/85 during the first weeks of the Incivek triple. At about week six my GP put me on a mild BP medicine (in contact with the gastro doc), and it came down to 130/80, where it is now. Both doctors seem pleased. And there doesn't seem to an end in sight for the BP meds. One tablet a day forever. Alan

I got down to 100/55 and a pulse around 45 towards the end of tx, down from 120/55 and 55. Took myself of the blood pressure meds. At 2 months post, I was back on it.

Anyone one else seeing this? Side effect of Rx? BP 178/65 Pulse 40. Seems that this week instead of getting a little dizzy when I stand up, now it can occur while sitting. All labs seem to be stable. I've been accused of being thickheaded, thick-skinned but never lightheaded (LOL). (Well, for full-disclosure some have wondered if the lights were on)
