Weeks 9 and 10 were the worst for me, by far. That was also when my hematocrit dropped below 30, and they started me on procrit. But by week 14 I was a little better. Then by a few weeks after Incivek, I felt almost normal. I am glad you found a "universal" anti-itch cream. Anything you can use on the arms, chest, shins, ankles and backside is worth its weight in gold. Best to you as you enter the final weeks of Incivek. Life is about to get better for you.

I also have various rashes on my body. My doctor sent in a script to a local Walgreens that compounds different meds. The script will be for a lotion or cream for the itching and the doc said I could is it ANYWHERE on my body (bottom too). When I pick it up, I will ask the pharmacy about contents and let everyone know. I will also ask if other Walgreens in other states can make it.

Bless all of you enduring the torture of Invicek. It's insane how symptoms pop up constantly And u never know minute by minute. You are at the end of the worse of tx. The rash and fire in the whole are stuff. Honestly if anyone works every day on Invicek I feel for them. There were days I couldn't get out Of bed and days I couldn't leave the bathroom. I am so glad to see you all almost finish. Allow one week after u finish so symptoms to Really improve. I still have rash from RIBA But not like what I experienced on Invicek. Private message me or ask any ??? We are here To help u get thru. I was fortunate I am still on 180 mg and 1000 RIBA I am anemic and platelets at 115. Hang in there! It's tough but it is almost over! You can do it. JoAnne

Hey Julie that is great news... Congrats.. Hang in there.. We all have had those moments.. this will pass...The Riba is generally the culprit for the R & W cell count , they reduced this medication for me @ week 8 I was very anemic and had to have a blood transfusion. My Riba dose prior was a 1000mg per day 600mg am and 400mg pm , they stopped the pm dose. I am still exhausted and have no energy.. it has been a long ride.. all the best peace and love MJ

As you can see from the subject line, I am und. If I werent so flippin' tired, I would actually jump up and down. I am in the middle of week 9 so that means only 3 more to go on the nasty incivek. My other blood work came back with low platelets, wbc, hcb and I am slightly anemic. They are reducing my interferon to 135 in hopes that will help. I really wanted to just quit today. No kidding. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like triple therapy, man. Thanks for being there for me everyone!
Great News! I don't know about reducing your meds. I would think they would try to keep them as much to spec. as humanly possible. I too am haveing a rough time of it,rash seems to be haveing a great life livening all over me.
I only have seven more days of the Incivek torcher. It seemed like a life time. I hope I feel better. But on the other hand I think I will be able to complete a whole month of going to work.
I really hate feeling like this. I barely talk.

Congratulations!!! I too have been undetected since 8 weeks. I'm hoping my doc either reduces my meds or gives me the all clear to stop tx all together. Good luck!
