my hair is lighter as well. renee and i just skyped and compared a few things post treatment. hair is definately one. but we are both feeling much better. woo hoo. onwards and upwards

and yeh, id does grow back, just slowly and thinner... i guess its gradually gonna thicken up. or not. i dont really care :)

Great!  It`s wonderful to hear you sounding so happy, Renee, after going through such a rough time on tx, even though you`re still fighting off a respiratory infection.   Thank goodness you`ve had Lindsay there for you all the way through, she has been a real support,  and you have so many happy times to look forward to together!

Glad you're recovering well. I'm with you- my hair is lighter and softer and is now straight. I only had a few grey hairs on my head, but these have fallen out. My grey beard was like steel wool, but now feels like a baby's bottom. It's wierd how different people can get different hair changes. Best wishes for your SVR. Cheers.

You look great sister!! I've lost a lot of weight as well after treatment. My hair has thinned and gone grey but that's normal for my age in my family. The soul is still intact however and I'm feeling great.

My over all (body) hair has thinned out. I butched cut my head before treatment and now as it is going back it is coming in much darker with red/auburn highlight. It did this before during the last 2 treatments too.

Hi Renee, wow your hair has gone several shades lighter...but I must say you`re looking very good!   My hair came back a bit thinner post tx too but it actually felt softer.

My Hair during tx fell out like mad so I chopped it all and then dyed the short ends that were left then cut it again lol and near the end of treatment my hair stopped falling out and has grown back in; it is MUCH Thinner than it used to be and yes it has lightened quite a bit: I am just over 2 months post tx

Hair color not changed, but the texture seems to have, a little less soft than usual...my bed head is hillarious now.

Really itchy after incivek for a few days.

Week 28 undetected since week 2, but on the 48 week torture plane.  I am just now getting a lot of the symptoms many got early on.  Stomach ache is latest new phenom.

 Congrats, it looks like ur gonna make it. You may get sum "itchies" after the incivek ends but its much more random, not so rashlike, and ends pretty soon. There are few people that could do what you've done, you should be proud.

Mine hasn't lightened because I cannot get it colored. I just started week 10 and have been doing a little "comb over" near the front/band area of my head. I have also noticed that my hair feels thinner. Oh well. It's only hair.

I'm in week 21 of tr/tx and my hair is down the drain.

I cant prove it but i beleive my hair has lightened. I do know it has thinned out alot and grows much slower, i haven't had to get a haircut since i started in june and could probally make it till next june but i want to look good for the holidays. The color looks a couple of shades lighter or it could be that theres more head shining thru.

My hair didn't liighten, but it sure did thin out. And after it began to come back in, it was a little more curly and a lot less controllable. i have gotten so jaded about side effects from this treatment that I don't even pay attention to all the crazy post treatment craziness. Just another check box on a page of unknown situations that must be dealt with.

Hi, I'm new to this forum I started treatment 10/19/12. I'm in week 8 of triple therapy and my hair color is lightening significantly at my roots. Has anyone else experienced this?
