Wow - 3.5 weeks to go! You must be longing for that day? How wonderful that you've navigated your treatment in such a positive way and I'm so sure that you've been an inspiration to so many people here, along with you being a fountain of knowledge as well.
Thanks for the link, I had not heard of this. My husband is classified cirrhotic (I think). It's very hard to get a solid response to that question from any specialist. They say there are so many variables, that it is impossible to be sure unless a biopsy is done again. My husband had a biopsy initially years ago when he was first diagnosed, and has had a couple of fibroscans since, the latest being in June last year.
We are glad to be over the half way mark, although I see my husband tiring more. He still works full time (fortunately a desk job), but it's a tough mental job which I think can sometimes be more draining than actually being more active. He has a really good attitude though and is a very determined man, so I am thankful for that.

Hi Caroline,
I've got 3.5 weeks to go.
RGT is Response Guided Therapy. It's where treatment length is tailored to VL results. It uses the VL at 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks. I've posted a link . Normally 48 weeks are only done for cirrhotics or those who have a late Undet, response. Cheers.

I just posted a reply but cannot yet see the post, which is why I'm adding another post rather than editing.
I forgot to tell you Malcolm that my husband is doing 48 weeks. How many weeks have you got left - you must be nearly finished?
Thanks everyone for your wonderful encouragement.
Malcolm, what is RGT?
Excellent news, Caroline, congrats to your hubby!
So good to hear this, what a boost for you both! ~ Jill
Hi Caroline,
Great result. How many weeks is hubby doing? I know you didn't get a 4 or 8 week VL, but is he eligible for RGT? Cheers
Whoot-Whoot Caroline...Awesome ... I think we're on a roll .. thanks for sharing..all the best to you and your hubby MJ
Congratz. Awesome, that's a string of us, 3 or 4 who had UND at week 24 in the past week and a half.
At this rate we'll get 100% cure rates soon enough.
Fantastic, there is no news that is better. Hope you both keep getting great results.
Hubby got the VL results last week for Week 24 - Undetected. Very happy to go into the New Year with a great result.
