Hi Ken. I'm at 6 months post and still NOT fully recovered from tx. I'm getting there. My labs all look "normal". But I still feel low, although I feel each week is getting better. It's just a lot slower than I expected. I have heard from people who said it was a year before they really got it all together. I think I'm in that category, unfortunately.
All the Best. Mark

Interferon has the longest half-life. Takes 6 months for that one to clear your system.

That sounds about right. I started getting energy back within 1 month but wasn't really back and feeling good till maybe month 4. I'm almost 6 months post now and feeling pretty dang good. Still UND.

Hi Ken, are you asking how long it will take to recover now you`ve finished tx? As with most things to do with Hep C it varies, and some people will find they start noticing a difference within the first couple of weeks, although it often takes a month or longer to start feeling better. The effects of the ribavirin on the red blood cells takes about 6 months to completely get back to normal but you should start getting your energy back within the first 2 or 3 months post tx, or maybe earlier.
How are you feeling now? ~ Jill
