Nice! I have seen that if you are going to relapse it happens most in the first 3 months after treatment so you have crossed a big milestone!

thanks so much all you guys... i made it. but not without the un ending support from right here. this place helped immensely with questions, love and empathy. i will never forget that...
for newbies, keep it up, its hard, and a big slog, but if we get the SVR at the end, well its all worthwhile...
i am enjoying summer, and not working (ok gotta look soon for a job, but not right now) and time with my awesome wee pup opal, and friends and the river and its great....
so different to this time last year.
KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT PEOPLE. AND THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR BEING HERE FOR ME... :)

hello all ,this is my first post on this form but been reading it for the past 6 months, got to say it has really helped me through my treatment. I was told I had hep c geno 1 and cirohsis stage 4, six months ago, viral load 6,000,000. I started treatment on Sep 14th,it was the worst experience ever. first 3 weeks I was bedridden. I had every side affect possible . I just wanted to die,but knew I had to keep up the fight. On my 8th week I went undetectable, however my red blood cell count nose dived, got my first transfusion then had to start injecting procrete for 6 weeks. they took me off all meds. except for the pegasus. Week sixteen still undetectable and back on all meds. Week 19, platelets droped to 9,000 ,another transfusion,6 units. my platelet count went up to normal,(250,000) 2 weeks later my platlets droped back down to 18,000. My doctors stopped treatment 2 weeks ago and said I have to wait for new treatments coming out in 2 years. however I am still undetectable. when I stated my weight was 135 now I am 125.
