Vinagar bath. Mix a couple cups into a warm bath. It really works and got me through. And Doxepin.

Same thing. After finishing Incivek mid January, the rash and itching started fading and were almost gone. But then reappeared. Not to the same extent, not that dark and without burning sensation.
Got a few dry red spots, would not call them a rash yet. Cream helps. Red areas on my stomach (interferon injection related?), redness and itching in the groin becomes a nuisance before bedtime
and during the night. Trying not to scratch but it wakes me up a few times. The creams and lotions which I have been using with Incivek do not help there.
Asked my MD if he could recommend other calming, soothing meds....
After all, believe I could bear and that for the last 8 weeks of treatment....

Mine slowly spread during tx. My wife would cover my back with hydrocortisone cream every day. Benedryl cream worked even better, but it is expensive. Just don't scratch! Just keep grinding it out. The last weeks go fast.

Hi Joanne,
i am glad you have a drs visit tomorrow. I have read and read and it seems for the RIBA rash
everyone is getting relief in different ways. I have been itchy and have a rash as well and I have been taking
1/2 of a Benadryl and using aveeno anti itch products ( creams, lotions and soap). Some people have used aveeno oatmeal bath. I may be doing that next. Good luck and let me know what your dr says!
