Good to hear that you are doing better, sometimes when I just read what you guys are doing, and in all that heat... ha ha, I have to log off and take a nap. You guys are so open and honest about or immortality when on these treatments that it is blazing a trail of knowledge for me and others. Your experiences will help us get through what you went through today. I know there is a 650 lb gorrila waiting to take a wak at me when I am near the end of treatment, but you have taught me how to run faster so I do not get beat up as much. Thanks and cheers, If you were told to chile out well come north, it is -23 c with wind chile of -30 c. Vern can put you to work drilling holes for is ice fishing

Hi JoAnne,
I understand completely! The last 10 weeks are very difficult as we are beaten up mentally and physically- I sometimes have trouble remembering why we are doing this to ourselves. With just 10 days to go I should be excited, but I just want this to be over.
We have cancelled all visitors as I can't be bothered explaining why I can't stand unassisted. My poor wife doesn't know what to cook as I have completely lost my appetite, and struggle to eat a tub of yoghurt with my Victrelis.
Just break the 10 weeks down to smaller pieces and count off a day at a time. The end will come. When you start feeling angry, go to bed before you say something hurtful.
For the Riba rash, avoid baths, hot showers and soap. I've been lucky as this is controlled by a small amount of betamethasone ointment- don't use a concentration stronger than 0.05%. I find that normal body creams and lotions makes it worse. Above all, don't scratch!
If necessary, be a hermit. You know you're strong enough to get through this. CheersXX
