I've gotten a prescription for antihistamine pill and cream. It helps a bit, but it's like britlitkaren said... mosquito's hitting nerve endings... It literally make my muscles jump and I have to rub or scratch it to ease that intense itch.

The itching crazies is what I call it. Like mosquitos are hitting your nerve endings. Drink water, stay cool, avoid warm baths, use ice packs in "hot spots", and maybe ask dr for a rx strength itch cream. It was just weird for several weeks. I couldn't avoid it. Take care..

As of tomorrow I'm 5 week into Triple Therapy.
I've slowly been getting this rash on my elbows. I wasn't concerned because I get this rash every January/February due to the dry air, but this time it's a little more pronounced --- no doubt due to Telaprevir.
I'm beginning to see it just a tiny bit on my knees, but it tends to go away.
Body-Wide I am itchy like crazy but no real rash... Some very pale redness that comes and goes. I've only had this happen once (at night) since starting treatment and by the next day it was gone. This time it has been pretty consistent since yesterday and into today.
I'm using Benadryl (Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 25mg), Cortef Cream (Hydrocortisone), Lanacane Cream (Benzocane and Resorcinol) As well as every type of Aveeno shower and moisturizer product.
They're helping to make the itch bearable, but it is definitely there and driving me mad.
What else can I do? Is it time to get something perscription strength? Should I drink more water? I drink about 2L per day. Should I try to eat even more fat with my medication? Will any of that help?
