This is some really great news, and you certainly deserve it. I say (as I always do) go celebrate with a nice dinner someplace and get Brie a bowl of ice cream.

i think i saw an article somewhere that states females can spontaneously clear hcv much more easily than males.
great news Judy, whats the next step? repeat RNA test in 6 months? have you asked your doc hepatologists does this happens often or it's considered a "miracle"

I'm trying to imagine how you must feel...totally awed I would guess.
I thought your liver improvement was pretty amazing, when you posted your biopsy results.
All I can say is I am very glad for you!

What great news, Im thrilled. I think there are folks who spontaneously clear due to their own immune system kicking in. Im betting that the virus was knocked down to the point that your own antibodies did the job.

Thank you Neil. I also considered that relapse was possible lab error, but my ALT & AST shot way up, too. (Now they're back down.) Also, my biopsy showed improvement from the one 13 years ago. My dad says it's our Hungarian blood.....lol. I consider it a miracle. It's amazing what the human body can do.

Lol...aint that a kick in the head. Just smile, say "It is what it is" and be real happy. Maybe the result showing relapse was a false positive?? I know we were all disappointed with the relapse news so this will make everything hunky dory. Vern can give you some cake now. Congratulations Judy.

How is this possible? You guys know I relapsed after tx last year. It's now 6-months post. Did Labs 4 days ago, on Monday. Everything looks better than ever before....liver enzymes back down, all LFT is great, glucose 72, all of CBC is perfect, thyroid great, uric acid, creatinine kinase....everything is just perfect.
Well, today I got the call from dr office. My Quantitative was last to come back. Now it's UND. How is this possible?? 6 months after relapse to have UND. WTH????
