10 months SVR and life is awesome. Energy levels up, sleep with no problem, excellent appetite, no anxiety/depression. Can't wait for spring to start so I can start running again. Started weight training program and breaking personal records every week.

i really do enjoy positive outcome stories like yours! Do you feel any residual sx after 1 year? Has your quality of life before tx and now 1 year post tx changed that a lot? Like maybe some symptoms you had from hcv but you thought they were from something else and now completely gone after tx? (joint pain, fatigue, skin problems, pain below right rib)
cheers!
I can speak to this one. I am one year out today. The last side effect I have been having is a touch of insomnia. The last couple weeks even that is gone.
I am having arthritis symptoms the last two months, but my doc thinks this is unrelated to the treatment as it is genetic in my family. All joint pain and fatigue...etc from the treatment was gone within three-four months after finishing. Most of the symptoms I had longer term were psychological. Insomnia, moodiness, a touch of anxiety. THose symptoms faded with time.
I feel much better overall than I did before I started the treament. The treatment itself is just like a bad dream.
Hope that helps.

I'm 9 mos svr and blamed a lot of symptoms that were related to hcv. Most are gone now. I do get tired easily, but I'm stage 4 and work full time. haha. Maybe it's that birthday coming up. I know that in many ways my health is better than it has been in years. I have a full head of hair for the first time in a decade. My joints do not ache unless I over do training for a 3K. My best to you both. Onward to SVR was my battle cry. Now it's onward to reverse fibrosis! Karen:)
