Congrats on 12th week UND. I would have liked to see you struggling with the pen. I need a good laugh (LOL).

I was just told this morning the my 12th week PCR isundetectable. They have just started me onEprex last week as my red cells where down to 103. they didn't want to reduce my Ribavirin any more as I'm on 5 tabs of Ribavirin. The Eprex injection system that they sent to me was defective and I was having the damndest time trying to get the plastic cover with the big spring out of the way so that I could remove the gray tip guard and inject myself .I called the pharmacy, doctor office ,my liver doctor and no one could explain to me how to get all this safety contraptions out of the way to actually remove the excess air and inject myself at the same time. After spending 3 hours of call the professionals I just decided to remove the plastic locking pins and push the plastic, spring and end cap and inject myself using the wall as my third hand. I had a friend that uses Eprex come over and he looked and laugh as I told him what I had to do. He asked me if I had another one and I did and when I opened the box there was the Eprex needle pen ready to uncap and use. One use the plastic spring then pop forward and cover the needle making it imposable to needle stick any one. Go figure the very first time I get to use a new drug the damn thing is defective right out of the box. Any ways I got the flu like symptoms and only barfed once during this week. Going to beat this dragon up this time.
Jack, sounds like my luck ... hang in there MJ
