Thanks for all the comments guys. Yeah, I guess I won't worry, one week less of interferon should not make a difference.
Just 10 more days of riba and then I can celebrate end of therapy ;).
best !

Just wanted to let you know that I had a lot of concerns during my tx. My doses of riba and interferon where lowered by the dr in the early stages of tx due to low RBC and WBC. They kept lowering the doses throughout and even had me wait ten days between injections a few times near the end of tx. By that time I was down to a fourth (45) recommended dose of Interferon.
I am happy to say, now 6 months post tx. and I am virus free!
And I see you had UND at week 4... that is great! I was not UND at week 4. I was Good luck my friend! I believe you have won the battle!!!

I understand your concern. I am the type who wants to follow everything to the letter just so I don't have to question if that is why it didn't work (if that were to happen). But in all reality, it most likely won't make any difference. I think the number of 24 is just what they use as a guideline. And just think! You won't have to stick yourself again! That would be awesome. I just shot #7 and they haven't really gotten easier for me. I have a fear of needles so I can't wait to be done with that part!

Nick, congratulations on getting rid of the poison (I doubt one week is a game changer). 23 or 24 weeks of taking this stuff is something to be recognized for. SVR is how we roll.

Hi Nick,
I wouldn't worry- you'll be fine. Onward to SVR!

Well, this sux... yesterday I had my 23rd interferon shot, so only one left to go.
Today I receive a call from my doc, my WBC came out so low (1.6) that he said
not to take my last shot next week, just finish the last bottle of riba.
I feel now a little bit uneasy not completing the whole 24 weeks of interferon,
but my doc said that given my case he thinks
that one more week wouldn't make much difference, if the virus comes back after 23 weeks
of interferon should not make a difference.
