Hi Lucy, no wonder you`re feeling so sick, your blood levels are very low and so is your blood pressure. Lowering your ribavirin dose should help a lot with the anaemia which is causing you to feel so exhausted and short of breath, and I hope you start noticing the difference and feeling better very soon.
This treatment is hard on you but remember it`s also just as hard on the virus. Good news about your ALT levels getting back to normal.
Best of luck with your viral load result, do let us know. Keep resting as much as you need to and remember to drink enough water to keep yourself well hydrated. Take care, Jill

I remember very well that there were days when I was not sure I would make it. I started breaking up the time into little chunks. When it seemed like I was going to have to quit, something would happen and I would get to feeling better. Just hang in there, check with your doctor and nurse often, and post your progress here. We love to hear from you.You can do this.

In past 4 weeks, I am very sick and don`t want to move, talk and walk. only want to lie and sit. This Tuesday, it is the forth week, I went to see my RN. I had a very short breath and very low blood presure with 86/56. After my RN talk with Doc. they decided cut Rib from 600 Morning/ 400 evening to 400 morning/ 200evening.
Based on the second and forth week blood test result,
RBC:2.61, very low
WBC: 3.4 very low
HGB: 88 very low
The forth week VL result is not avaiable. But good news is my ALT is normal in the second week. My hope I can keep doing to finish the whole treatment.
