That`s good to know, let`s hope that does the trick then!

I turned off the active editor setting in my profile. Maybe that will stop it. Seems to be working okay now that I've turned it off ...

Hi Kathi, I don`t know why you`re having trouble with your autocorrect, and I can`t remember anyone else here mentioning it as being a problem. It`s a nuisance for you though! Could you try posting without your ipad autocorrect swiched on?
I think It`s worth you speaking to your doctor about your result and the test used, it would be nice to have some confirmation from her.
Keep in touch! ~ Jill

I talked to my nurse this morning. She said that the test used is Roche pcr RNA test and that it detects to the level of 7 (single digit) I googled it after we spoke but I didn't see references to any tests that detect to 7. I do have a message in for my doctor so I wil ask her about it too.

Congrats on the `Undetected`, Kathi, that`s good news! It`s a bit puzzling about the vl of 7 though, let us know what you find out from your nurse. You`re doing great anyway! ~ Jill

Hi Kathi,
You obviously haven't received the whole VL report. The important part is 'HCV RNA Not detected'. So you are Undetected, which is great. Can you try to get the whole report, and ask your nurse where the 7 came from? I think it's important to know which VL test is being used, and what is the LLOD. I'd rather be Undetected if the LLOD is 15 instead of 50. Cheers.

I moved this query from new members to this section, hope that's okay. As I previously reported, my nurses said that my 4 week VL test was "negative" and i had a viral load of 7 "single digit 7" She was very clear in pointing out that it was a single digit 7.
I have now received the written results but it doesn't say anything about "7". the hcv load spot is empty. It says that HCV RNA not detected. Under hcv load interp, it says "see note" but there is no note. It also doesn't tell me what type of test was run, only that it was done at tpmg regional lab, Berkeley. (I am a kaiser patient.)
That`s good to know, let`s hope that does the trick then!
