We do end up with quite an assortment of creams. The triam098lone works wonders. Too tired to spell. It sounds like it's just external. Which feels crazy nutty scratchy awful. But those who have the rash systemic have a hard time. Ice bags and best wishes, Karen:)

Thanks Everyone!
The only thing I haven't tried is Triamcinolone. Luckily I have an appointment with my doc on Wednesday so I will inquire then.
I have been watching the rash closely. It's usually just a mild inflammation on the skin that comes and goes , but the itch persists.
Aveeno is definitely nice. I think I have one of every type of their product.
Thanks everyone!! Thanks so much for the encouragement. It helps a lot!

I was jumping in my skin at times. This sounds crazy try not to scratch. Sometimes I just gave in. I put layer of prescribed oniment Than layer of Vaseline on inflamed places. Sometimes I just burned and itch with No signs if rash. Hang in there, try to calm down, just get thru it! We got to beat this disease.

I have been in your shoes. What week of Invicek are you in?
I'm going on week 10 Incivek.
I have the Betamethasone Cream which helps with the rash, and a little bit of the itch.
Still nearly unbearable.

I'm going out of my mind right now with the severety of itching down my arms / hands and legs.
I have Atarax, and have been taking the 1 (50 mg) capsule every 6 hours. When the itching gets so severe I am literally hitting myself, throwing a fit, trying to withstand the pain I will take another 50 mg of Atarax but at that point it turns me into a brainless zombie AND I become very disoriented / dizzy. That's fine for sleeping if I take it early in the evening... but I have to drive and work --- which is impossible with the itch and impossible with the 100mg of Atarax.
I have a lanacane cream that works for maybe 15 minutes. Moisturizers do nothing. Ice cold bathing helps, but is also uncomfortable and only while the cold water is hitting me. Benedryl helps very little --- but with the Atarax it just adds to the inability to think.
Is there anything else I can do? Is there anything else my doctor can prescribe me? Should I go to emergency (the rash isn't severe, just itch)?
I've got two weeks left of Telaprevir, and I'd rather not stop it now... Although, it's beginning to seem like my only option!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP... These matters are not helping my growing depression either... It's really grinding me down.
Thanks for any suggestions...

I hear you! Ive been there!
1. Warm bath Not Hot!( use baby bath not fragrant)
2. Call Doc. Ask for a Rx. Of Hydroxzine x2 per day and Rx of hydrocortisone.
3. Use Aveeno moisturizer. ( un scented )
4. No fabric softener, deodorant, aftershave etc.
5. Dont itch! U will bleed once u start its all over. And yes you will itch yourself in your sleep.
for me in was told I was a day away from stopping due to the severe rash. Stay the course it's workin! Stay in touch with your doctor every day and tell them where your at.
They called me. Worried.
Its the rash that gets ya. People do have really severe reactions and can be fatal. You need to be thinking about getting through the next 2 wks. Put work on the back burner. If possible.
your sick give yourself a break to get well.
I can really feel for you
