I have seen way more people achieve SVR than I have not on the incevik. I unfortunatley did not, BUT I would do it again tomorrow if I could. I was so scared to get started, but once I did I was fine. I guess what I am saying for me, it was worth it. I think my body just didn't respond to the interferon. At least I know I did everything I possibly could and have that peace of mind. There are a lot more people that are a lot more informative than me so you should get some more responses soon. Good luck in your decision!

This is a complex question. Success rates vary with age, degree of liver damage, etc. But for an otherwise healthy person who hasn't got cirrhosis and carefully follows the treatment schedules, a success rate over 80% is about right, I think. There is a ton of info at the Incivek web site, and at PubMed and many other public information sites. It boils down to a pretty darn good chance of SVR.

I was wondering what the success rate of the telep\peg iba treatment is..and also your thoughts and exp if you obtained svr or treatment failed? I have a family member that also went thru this treatment and they were cut off at 8 weeks : ( I guess im just worried about it...it seems like the success rate they have posted is lot lower than originally thought..Thats why im curious as to if others have obtained or relapsed? I hope EVERYONE makes it and we beat this nasty crap! -dunkin
