I have to admit that I feel 50 times better being off the HepC drugs for 12 days, then I did being 12 days sober from alcohol and drugs (LOL).
Every time I see your post just makes me smile. It is a pleasure to have sailed with you. I feel a great future coming on

Role Call - Counting up. Six months till my viral load test. SVR is what we want. 4 days since the last dose of Ribavirin. Still very tired, taking naps and having some brain fog. Fortunately the weather has been so bad lately that I haven't been tempted to get out fishing.
Way to go, your there ice is gone fish are biteing and you are right silence is fullfilling. Way to go and thankyou for your humor and firm but gentle guidence. only downfall up here is the blackflies are out even with a -3 windchill.

Landfall day for me. Last 3 Riba down the hatch. After 48 weeks at sea, it will be good to be back on solid ground. I agree with M.J. getting from beginning to end has been a joint effort. Without others the voyage would have been rougher.
Not a day goes by that I don't think of all of you... without your support , this gal wouldn't have made it..
all the best to the ones coming up on the finish line...and to those just starting hang in there ..

Two days of Riba left after tonight. Seems a little surreal, now what? I'm almost to tired and fatigued to celebrate the milestone (or should I say millstone).
Heard this in my meeting tonight
Silence is God's first language; everything else is a poor translation. In order to
hear that language, we must learn to be still and to rest in God.

14 days left. Time to starting look for where I left my stamina. Searched the basement and the garage. I just can't remember were I put it last June. Must be brain fog. Not sure what to do if I can't find it. I checked Ebay but none was listed, Amazon didn't have any either.
If you recall I was trying to sell some of my irritability and grumpiness last Fall, hope I didn't accidentally sell the box with stamina. If anyone has any extra, maybe we can work out a trade? I've got a ton of fatigue that I could make someone a real deal on.

Next to last - #47 done. This one I'm calling Trust. Trust is different from faith and hope. Trust is where I find the strength to move forward. Trust is what causes me to drag my vulnerable imperfect self forward in life. Trust gives the power to both hope and faith.
Hardly a week goes by that someone who knows about this journey I've been on doesn't ask if it is "really worth it", "What if it doesn't work this time", "What are the chances that doing nothing might have been best; rather then dragging myself through another treatment".
If I acheive SVR will that mean it was? If I don't will that mean I wasted the last year? The answer I think isn't if it was or if it did, I suspect the answer is "was I true to myself?" And if the answer to that is "yes, then what else matters"?

Last day of Incivek! got a couple of doses I missed still taking.... figured couldn't hurt.
Been clean for over 20 years. Never drank much. Of course I haven't always been the most straight and narrow kid on the block.
Paying for it now I guess. Worked a lot of construction not the most blood born pathogen job in the early days...but it's getting better now.

Jim what I meant was that in order to be my sponsor, he developed more humility then I have been able to. It is sort of like, if you want something from AA, giving it to others is the best way to obtain it for yourself. Paradoxical isn't it. I was joking about often driving him to the brink.
