What i have read victrelis(boceprevir) is way more tolerable. I am on my 38th week. Still Teleprevir is only 12 weeks. Same SVr rates.

Hi Bob,
This has been discussed many times before. Do a Search and just type in 'Victrelis'. I have done 2 posts on Incivek vs Victrelis, in General Discussion, on 24 July 2012, and 17 Feb 2013. In general, Victrelis is regarded as the 'kinder' drug, although the anaemia may be more severe. Good luck.

I have been doing triple therapy for 5+ weeks and have had VL go to near undetectable for three straight weeks (non-linear range so no number). That is greater than a four log drop. But with this, my side effects have been intolerable. Fatigue to the point of not being able to get out of bed, not helped by more rest. So after discussion we have stopped ribavirin and teleprevir. No ifn planned until next friday. After talking to my doc, we discussed substituting boceprevir for teleprevir. Obviously very few people have done both. Wondering if anyone has insights into the differences between the two drugs vis a vis side effects.
