Good looking numbers, particularly the AST and ALT. Next time include your Hb and WCC. Cheers.

I know it's too early to tell of the long term benefits of the treatment, however it is encouraging that most things are headed in the right direction. Here's some of the numbers (from Monday's lab work vs. Mar 27th) thus far:
My next blood draw is Monday so we'll see what God has in store for us. I'm sure it's for the best.
My side effects are minor compared to most, and I pray for those suffering everytime I think of them. Between diarrhea/butt burn vs. constipation I spend a lot of time in the bathroom! One day I'm raw and the next day I'm bleeding, followed by 3 days of itching/healing.
The worst part is the nauseau, as I've always had a strong stomach, and today was the first day I almost lost it... almost! Thank God for saltine crackers! I got permission from my MD to take Pepto-Bismal, so I will get some this weekend.
Hope and pray that your journey is smooth and your healing is quick.

Hi Oral,
Good looking numbers, particularly the AST and ALT. Next time include your Hb and WCC. Cheers.
I know it's too early to tell of the long term benefits of the treatment, however it is encouraging that most things are headed in the right direction. Here's some of the numbers (from Monday's lab work vs. Mar 27th) thus far:

RDW = 18.2 ( + .3.5)
Platelets = 87 ( + 9)
Bilirubin = 4.0 ( + 2.4)
AST = 53 ( - 64 [high=400])
ALT = 40 ( - 61 [high=293])
RNA, VC = 237 ( - 1.4 mil [4.4 mil])
RNA Log = 2.37 ( - 3.92)

My next blood draw is Monday so we'll see what God has in store for us. I'm sure it's for the best.
