The AFP is pretty non-specific but may be a tumour marker for HCC. Usually the numbers are much, much higher. HCV itself may cause elevation in AFP. Get it repeated in a few months. Cheers.

My AFP numbers were 12 a few months ago and 21 yesterday - they said normal is 9.8. Is this something to worry about?
